Testimonials

Furry Godmothers is the most wonderful rescue I’ve ever adopted from. You can really tell how much love and passion Beverley puts into her rescue and it shows in the kittens she raises I couldn’t be happier with my two cats I have adopted from her.

Bev goes above and beyond getting kitties health and rehomed. She spends countless hours taking amazing care of all the babies, even on her bad days. A very wonderful and caring woman.

Beverley and Jake do a wonderful job running the kitten rescue. They spend countless hours taking care of the animals. They have been doing this for many years.

Furry Godmothers may seem like a normal rescue, but to those who know the hearts of Beverley and Jake, they know how different this one is from the rest. When a stray cat on my property had kittens and then sadly passed away, Beverley was quick to jump in and help. She provided quick and professional advice on how to bottle feed a litter of 7. She gave me supplies and support for whatever I needed. She never turned me away even when I asked numerous questions, always remaining patient. I truly could not have saved them without her. Furry Godmothers is more than a rescue , it is a safe haven and home.

Furry Godmothers is an outstanding example of the tireless efforts and loving devotion of Beverley, kindly referred to as the cat “Mom” and Jake, her husband devoting their lives every day to saving orphaned kittens. This rescue makes life possible for so many kittens that otherwise would have no chance. Every adoptable kitten is lovingly socialized and fully vetted to join their forever home.

I found Furry Godmothers Kitten Rescue through a friend who volunteers there, and I’m so thankful I did. I’ve adopted four cats from them, and every experience has been wonderful. The adoption process is always easy and straightforward, and the owners and volunteers are genuinely kind and a pleasure to be around. What really stands out to me is the love and care they give their kittens. The babies are bottle fed and raised with so much hands on love and attention. That level of care truly shows and I’m grateful for the four wonderful cats they have brought into my life. I highly recommend Furry Godmothers to anyone looking to give a cat a forever home.

Help Us Find Loving Homes for Kittens

To help orphan baby kittens survive after the loss of the mother by bottle feeding and caring for their needs until they are old enough to be put up for adoption. We specialize in rescuing babies still nursing from the mother. We will take in the babies if the mother is not around any longer to provide the care. If the kitten is old enough to eat solid food, they would be considered too old for our agency to take in, in most cases.
